For this position its under one of our subsidiary company; ASL Child Edu Sdn Bhd known as Tadika Khalifah Budiman (TKB) that using The Little Caliphs Program (TLCP). TLCP are the biggest Islamic Preschool Network in Malaysia. Currently we have 15 Islamic Preschool in Klang Valley, Penang, Perak and more branches to be setup this year under TKB

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES ISLAMIC KINDERGARTEN ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL (Teaching & Administrative)

The position is responsible to conduct a class and assist the school principal in the leadership, coordination, supervision and management of the school program and operation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Minimum must 3 years experience in private school; early child education, preschool or primary school.(compulsory)
  2. Any bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in early child education or professional certificate from recognize body.
  3. Applied Muslimah way of life.
  4. Speak clearly to students, other teachers, parents and support team.
  5. Mature and have passion, love for children as well able to communicate with parents effectively.
  6. Must possess own transport.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point).
  8. Position available in Penang, Perak, Shah Alam, Klang and Kuala Lumpur.
  9. Full-time positions. Can start immediately will be an advantage

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  1. Design monthly/weekly lessons plan according to the TLCP and TKB standard and requirements.
  2. Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods and techniques used in the administration and supervision to assist Principal in a school.
  3. Able to motivate others to reach their fullest potential.
  4. Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school officials, parents, students, teachers, support staff and support department.
  5. Good in English spoken and written communications.

JOB SCOPE:

  1. Assist the principal in developing and maintaining an effective educational program consistent with guidelines, SOP, policies and goals of the management.
  2. Assist the principal in meeting and conferring with parents and staff by keeping a good relationship.
  3. Assist the principal in some areas of administration of the school; interpret and enforce policies and regulations.
  4. Assist the principal in the transformation of the school culture into a results-oriented collaborative learning community.
  5. Serve as principal in the absence of the regular principal.
  6. Propose schedules of classes, extracurricular activities and special projects; help schedule courses, students and teachers.
  7. Assist the principal in requisition supplies, textbooks, and equipment, conduct inventories, maintain records, and check on receipts for such material.
  8. Assist in the reporting and monitoring of student attendance, fees and discipline.
  9. Design monthly/weekly lessons plan according to the TLCP and TKB standard and requirements.
  10. Leading students through fun, creative play and hands-on activities.
  11. Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, structured games, art, outdoor activities etc) to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities.
  12. Assess students performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on regular basis.
  13. Help students learn to read and write along with personal, social and emotional skills.
  14. Work with others department in compiling the proposals, forms and budget requests.
  15. Identify the special needs of students on a regular basis, seeking the assistance and solutions.
  16. Maintain and model high standards of professionalism.
  17. Leading projects and perform related work as required.
